Thomas J. Noble Thomas J. Noble is a lifelong resident of South Amboy. He served on the South Amboy Police force for 30 years retiring as a detective Sergeant, in June of 1995. Currently he is a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, the Middlesex County Chapter #9 Emerald Society, receiving the honor of Irishman of the year in 2004, serves as a Board Member of New Jersey State retired Police and Fireman Association of Middlesex and Monmouth County, the American Legion Luke A. Lovely Post #62 and South Amboy Knights of Columbus. Thomas J. Noble’s past associations include South Amboy Municipal Alliance Against Drugs and Alcohol Abuse, South Amboy Shade Tree Advisory Commission, South Amboy Elks, President of the Frog Hollow Swim & Tennis Club, President, Central Jersey Police Film Library, SAFD Protection Engine Company member, Volunteer Board Member, Raritan Bay Credit Union. Thomas J. Noble has been married to Mary Halmi Noble for 48 years. They have 4 children, Mary Repice, Ann Noble, Tom Noble, and Jennifer Kilcooley. He is the proud grandfather of 9 children.
