One Tattoo, Two Tattoos?

How I cam to get a tattoo.
Hi, my name is Henry and this is my story of why I decided to get a tattoo.
At that time, I was an eighteen year old. Since I am from Pennsylvania, this was the earliest age that one could legally get a tat. You can get a tattoo at a younger time, though you need permission (or, as I call it: permish) from parents/guardian.

Anyhow, since I knew this tattoo would be on my lovely skin (and because now I could no longer be buried in a Jewish graveyard) I decided that the design had to be something important to me. It stinks for those people who get their significant other's name tattooed on them and then they break it off. Ouch! I did not want a bad situation to happen to hank. I didn't just want any ol' tat
My Choice
I chose to get a shamrock, also known as a four-leaf clover. There was a lot of logic behind my choice. One reason is because I am of Irish descent. So this reminds me of where my parents came from and where my roots lay before my ancestors came to the Usa.
Secondly, I am lucky to say that I have been blessed with good fortune and things that have happen to me in my life. This sounds cliche, but I have one big, happy family. My upbrining was priveledged. I am relatively healthy. Here is a short story that illustrates how fortunate I am.
I had really bad allergies when I was younger. Man, it was terrible! I sneezed incessantly and could only breathe out of my mouth. Well anyway, I went to the doctor's and the doctor told me I had nasal polyps. As a result of of the polyps, I had to get screened for cystic fibrosis. Cystic Fibrosis is a fatal disease. Lucky, the test was negative for me. My doctor told me, however, that I was his only patient that had the polyps but not the fibrosis!
Where did I get the Tattoo?
But back to the main idea of the article--tattoos. I got the four leaf clove on my left thing. I wanted it to be private. To be for me. Actually, it is also seen by those lucky ladies! But anyway, sometimes today people still judge you based on your null So I got the shamrock on my leg because it is for me only, so people can't see it. This is good in situations like for job interviews, etc.
As an added bonus, my thigh is strong and the thigh muscle masked some of the pain. I think that If I had gotten it done in a more sensitive area, like the back of the kneck, for example, it would have been more unpleasant for certain.
Will I Ever Get Another One?
Some say that tattoos are addicting. I think this is true a little. More so when I was younger. However, the four leafed clover is all I need for now. So will I eventually get another tattoo? Nope. Do I regret getting this one? Absolutely not. You only live once so you have to make choices that you are comfortable with, and I am very happy (lucky even!) to have my irish tattoo.
I write about tats, but I also write about printers. You can check out one of my writings here at my print blog. Feel free to check out this HP Laserjet. Thanks for reading my article.
